CHM Editor

If you need to edit or translate a help file in CHM format, CHM Editor is the perfect application for you.

CHM Editor not only lets you edit the text using the controls on its tool bar, it also lets you translate the file content into different languages.

CHM Editor uses Google and Yahoo translation services. The user only needs to choose the language of origin and the language it needs it translated into, and that’s it, it’s translated. You will, however, have to correct any translation defects by hand.

It’s a pity the size of the text can’t be changed manually. If you have HTML skills it won’t be hard to do this, as CHM Editor shows you the help file's source code so you can modify it.
